Symptoms – It’s not just Hot Flushes!* **

Heart Palpitations in Menopause

When I started to experience the classic hot flushes and night sweats, I had no idea that for me this was just the start. This led to feelings of anxiety and whilst I am not a particularly ‘stress filled’ person, I noticed I was starting to get heart palpitations.

Migraine and Menopause

With my hormones fluctuating, my Migraine headaches became more frequent and fierce. They became so bad and so frequent at one stage, that I was having 3 or 4 in a month and having to take frequent time off work as they lasted from 2 to 3 days at a time.

Sleep and Naps with Menopause

I love sleeping! It refreshes you both physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is during this time that your body repairs itself. As I have got older (I am now in my 50’s), I find that I am sleeping less, but it is better sleep and naps are beginning to become part of my life.
